OUR STORY AT TREMATON HALL
Six years ago, we made the move to Cornwall and instantly fell in love with the peaceful countryside surrounding Trematon Hall. Set within 25 acres of private land near Saltash, our home has become a place of tranquillity, nature and simple living, and we're delighted to share it with guests staying in our luxury shepherd's huts in Cornwall.
We are passionate about making every stay as relaxing and memorable as possible. From our flourishing kitchen garden and free-range chickens to the honey produced by our own beehives, much of what makes Trematon Hall special comes directly from the land around us.

I am currently at the property, but only staying for tonight. So, as I sit in the garden at night with the fairy lights on listening to the rain and enjoying the peace - I thought I'd write my review. From the first point of contact, Julie communicated quickly, politely and professionally. Upon arrival, she was already walking to greet us with a warm friendly smile. I would go as far as to say that it was like greeting a friend who I hadn't seen in a while. I instantly felt at ease as she showed us to where we were staying; she explained that she was not far if we needed anything at all.
I met one of her dogs -she's beautiful! I definately could have borrowed her for an hour of snuggles on the sofa as she was just adorable. ( we very recently lost our dog).
I will certainly be booking here again, a weekend next time!

An exceptional luxury stay in a beautifully designed shepherd’s hut. Every detail felt high-end and thoughtfully curated, creating a truly indulgent and relaxing experience. The interior was stylish, comfortable, and finished to a very high standard, while the deck was stunningly decorated and perfect for unwinding.
One of the highlights was spending time on the deck, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and watching local wildlife — including a magnificent falcon — which made the stay feel extra special and connected to nature. The setting offered the perfect balance of tranquillity and convenience, with excellent local amenities close by.

We had the most wonderful weekend staying in one of the shepherd huts at Trematon Hall. It was exactly the escape we needed—peaceful, charming, and full of character. The hut was beautifully decorated and had everything we could possibly need, making it feel like a true home away from home.
The grounds were huge, and we loved being welcomed by the local wildlife—chickens, goats, sheep, and even an eagle soaring overhead. One of the highlights was watching the sheep wander around while in the hot tub relaxing under the stars. The outdoor lights added a magical touch in the evenings, and the hot shower was a dream.
We spent our days BBQing, laughing at the chairs racing in the wind, and snuggling up on the sofa with a blanket and a good film. The star lights above the bed were mesmerising, and we both had the best night’s sleep in ages.
Julie was a fantastic host—her instructions were clear and easy to follow, and it was lovely to be greeted by her when we arrived. She showed us how to use the hot tub and outdoor lighting, which made everything feel extra special.
Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. We’d love to come back again
